Today I took another try on Elvis in Charcoal #182 after trashing the previous one. The reference photo is small so it is hard to see all details. On the drawing table It is fun to draw the Gold, it’s like making a abstract painting. His face is much better than on the previous try.
While I was working on this drawing I saw that Elvis his face didn’t go well. And because I use ink for the darkest parts there was no way to correct it. I did a little bit of Gold to see how that worked out. And then I trashed it! Tomorrow I will start over
